The New Pastel Home Decorating Look-Book from Occa Home
The new ‘Urban Pastels’ Spring lookbook for 2014 from Occa Home is right up my alley! It’s quite modern in style with lots of complimenting dark shades and metallic, which really seems to make the chalky pastels a little bit bolder.
This Scandinavian living room is very nice. It’s not my usual, traditional style and it’s a little dark for me but I do love the products contained in this lovely image. I do rather like the large windows but again, it’s a little dark for me! I might have to buy those coral/pink coloured cushions and I like that white lamp, although it wouldn’t really go with the decor in my home. The felt furniture is rather unique and I am intrigued by that footstool beside the window!
I think I prefer the second example of the home office but I would switch the black chair for the couch! That is the biggest lamp I have ever seen in my life! I have just a little peek on the Occa Home website and I know that these items aren’t exactly budget friendly (or at all) but they do sell a very, very large range of Greengate products!
This really is rather Scandinavian! These shades are very pretty together. I do have to wonder if all of these images were shot in the same room and just had all the furniture moved! I bet it’s an office space or something rented for the photo shoot. Look at me and my speculation!
Ooh I like the pastel coloured glasses and the doily style clock that’s on the wall! What wonderful kitchen accessories. It’s amazing to see the ‘chalkboard labels’ that have been so popular on Pinterest are now showing up in home decor stores all across the world!
The size of this dining table is perfect for family dining! Especially at easter. The dining room looks marvellous from this angle. Altogether this isn’t my style but I do appreciate any store that includes a feature on pastel shades!
