What Is Topcashback And How The Heck Do I Get My Money?!
How do cashback sites work?
I’m glad you asked! 😉
Cashback sites are a simple idea. Instead of going directly to a shop, you access a retailer’s online store through a link from a cashbackwebsite. You still receive your item directly from the retailer, but you also get some money from the cashback website. It is often a percentage of the total price you paid.

That’s pretty sweet right?
So a site like EBay, pays TopCashBack money when you click via TopCashBacks link. So TopCashBack give you a cut when you shop through the TopCashBack Link that takes you to eBay. It’s Simples!
After you register for Topcashback this will be your new home screen:
You can search for retailers or click around links to familiarise yourself with the website and how it works.
Take a breath. I know figuring out new sites can be overwhelming!
Browse categories to find brands you usually buy with and hit the little hearts to add to favourites or simply click on the buttons on the side.
I clicked on the ebay button and this is my new screen:
Hit the big pink ‘Get Cashback Now’ button and you will be redirected to eBay.
Your visit will be stored using cookies and you just continue with your purchase. It takes a few weeks to verify purchases and as long as you’re patient, you’re getting free money basically.
To avoid having to go to the cashback website every single time I use it, I copied the redirect link and added it to my bookmarks bar. As long as I am logged into Topcashback, it will direct to eBay or the Topcashback login screen.
If you have been taken to the login screen, as soon as you log in, you will be directed to your site of choice.
eBay visit with tracking link (all that code after .co.uk/).
You can still use coupon codes and discounts while on this cash back website.
There is an Offers Section, they frequently offer competitions and bonus cashback boosts (sometimes up to 10% extra cash back for one weekend only etc.)
How to earn EVEN MORE money with Topcashback
There’s a referral program!
This is the page you see after you click the ‘Tell-a-friend’ link.
Update as of October 2016: I’ve earned £194.41 in cashback from doing my regular shopping!
Update as of November 2016: I’ve earned £201.11 in cashback from doing my regular shopping!
What’s great about TopCashBack is that you can still use coupon codes, promotional codes and discounts when you shop through them. As long as they are verified by TopCashBack. You can sign up to Newsletters to be notified when there are offers via youe favourite shops!
So you can save money by using coupon codes and discounts at your favourite online store just like you normally would, AND you can earn money back by shopping on that website by clicking on the topcashback’ link. Does it actually get any better than that?
Is TopCashBack A Scam?
NO! On my life it is not a scam. I am writing this mini guide because I have made a couple hundred quid this year through TopCashBack, and all I did was login to TopCashBack, find the shop and click it. Boom.
Top Tip: Copy your referral URL as soon as you arrive on your favourite site. Then create a bookmark. This ensures that you will always go via TopCashBack and ALWAYS earn money! It helps to have cookies enabled and sometimes you will have to login again. If that happens, you login and are directly taken to your favourite shop.
They make money whenever you shop through their link, just like how when you click on my affiliate links I make a little bit of money.
For example: Target is listed on Ebates.com. Target pays a percentage to Ebates for being an affiliate and for referring customers to them. Ebates then gives you a little bit of that percentage as well for using their website. Everyone wins and no one is a part of a make-believe Ebates scam.
When it comes to a cash back comparison, Topcashback wins in my book! Super Serials!
Do you use a cash back website? Did my TopCashBack review help you out? What is your favourite of all the cash back websites?
I’m always open to suggestions and affiliate comparisons.
Sign up for a website like TopCashback where you can earn CASH BACK for just spending like how you normally would online at one of the many Topcashback stores. The service is free to use, I did have to pay a fee of £5 when I was withdrawing £200+, which I did not mind at all.
Phew! That’s a lot of information. I hope you take advantage of a cashback site and get some scoobies into your pocket!
