10 Awesome Crafty Washi Tape Ideas You Need To Steal Right Now!
I am a huge fan of all things washi related! It’s excellent for use in journalling and in your planner (love it!) It has so many uses which is why I’m sharing all of these fabulous images with you today.
- Adorable Little Plant Flags
This type of tape is perfect for making little plant flags! Just be sure to use permanent marker or a biro as the ink can come right off from a regular rollerball ink pen.
2. Block colour clothes pegs
I love those colour block pegs, I might have to steal that idea.
3. Paperclip flags
Aren’t these paperclip flags a rather genius idea? I’m definitely going to be using this, they would be perfect for using inside my blog notebook and my planner, currently I just make little tabs by folding the tape over on itself. It works fine!
4. A customised mouse mat
This mouse mat looks great! I actually need a mouse mat but I’m not sure how well it would glide across the surface of washi. My mouse seems to like fabric covered notebooks and hates magazines; a little rough texture seems to be the best.
You can find blank mouse mats pretty cheaply on ebay.
5. Planner stickers
and of course decorating your planner! Don’t just use tape strips, cut out and use geometric shapes!
6. Envelope decorations!
This little bunting washi tape is just adorable! I would love to receive a birthday card in the mail with this decorated envelope! I would have to store it in a binder; way too good to recycle!
This is a multiple roll washi tape…. roller?! You can make smaller rolls from the big rolls. If, for example, you wanted to sell 5 metres of the stuff, or send it to a friend.
7. Birthday Cards
Make your own banner from different patterned tape and add a little illustration for a fabulous birthday card.
I like this dispenser a lot! I also like it being on the wall, although I’m not sure how functional that is! I usually carry my washi tape in a cosmetics case that I use as a giant pencil-case and I can carry it around with me.
There is that roller utensil in action, with a little more rolled off the larger rolls.
8. Page footers in your notebooks
I like this washi tape but I can’t fully see what it is, do you think i’s to create a rough-looking painted texture?
9. Washi tape coasters! Or even a little card.
10. Photo decorations!
I’ve never known what you could do with washi tape like the bird washi tape shown above.
