How To Make A Cheaters Crochet Garland
Welcome to The Craft Cafe! This tutorial today is for those people out there who don’t know how to crochet but love how it looks and want to have crochet decor in their homes.
I saw so many fabulous crochet garlands online over the past year, and I wanted to see some adorning my wall, but I was far too lazy and cheap to make one.
You will need:
- crochet embellishments (I’ve got loads listed on my Etsy pages)
- a piece of string or yarn
- A crochet hook or a needle of some sort
Before We Get Started, Have You Taken The Customised Craft Furniture Quiz?
Tie a knot at the end of your yarn and string it onto your needle.
String on your embellishments and tie another knot at the other end. Make sure you string through the gaps of your embellishments, you will know yourself where to string them.
I chose to string my embellishments in such a way, that they wouldn’t bend forward at any stage in the future.
That was beautiful and easy and painless, right?
What do you think about this crocheted garland? Will you be making one for your house?
I also want to know… what was your favourite embellishment from my garland? I think the cherries are my favourite or the lime green doily!
