Dec Daily 2013 Part 1
This is a very picture heavy post, you have been warned! I shared my december daily last year when I was making it, with all of the information linked to the products used ^_^ I really like the cover of this December Daily. I’m in the process of deciding how to proceed with this years album, I have a studio calico linen binder but apart from that, I’ve no idea what I’m doing.
The inside, I fell in love with these little pinwheels and had to use them somewhere; the first page was as good a place as any!
This little picture of my kitty was the most adorable little shot of her squishy face and I used my phone to add the little elf had and the month. The ‘2’ layout is a folding ‘hidden’ journalling space.
The picture is pretty useless so I decided to hide it!
The layout with the image of the dogs has gold ink and splatters in the background.
I’ve decided to hide some of my photos of family and friends with stars and other chipboard/embellishments, so please excuse that! I love the vintage Santa sticker ^_^
I loved this free printable calendar from last year. I’m looking forward to seeing any that emerge for this year! I realise I’ve missed a layout; I will stick it in the Part 2. Promise!
Another adorable photo of my kitty, squished up on my knees.
The ‘enjoy the little things’ is from Rhonna designs app.
I had bought a few fabulous embellishments from Tara Anderson from Citron Faire on etsy, the packaging was so gorgeous that I decided to put it in my journal.
Then I bought some fabulous items from Syl Loves on dawanda, I had to include the gorgeous packaging and a gorgeous photo card that Syl included with my order.
This gorgeous little photo ^_^
This pink herringbone paper is from a crate paper 6″ pad and the next layout was on it’s 12″ equivalent.
You can see the difference in the size of the patterns! Quite considerably. I cut it specifically for the width of those photos. I like the mis match and hodge podge of sizes throughout the album. I love doing December Daily; you need to be organised but I love it! I need to begin arranging my papers and start putting them in my binder. I think I will attempt to design my own papers and backdrops this year, much like Ashley G and how I would have created my December Dailies (as cheaply as possible) in the early days.
