This is one of the easiest DIY projects you will ever do! Or could ever want to do! I love creating push pins and magnets because all you need is glue, something pretty to stick on the top and some pins or magnets! I couldn’t decide what type of glue to use for this but in the end I went with good old, multi-purpose uhu style glue.

How To Make Shabby Pearl Push Pins
I think they look pretty snazzy on my little inspiration board. It has been so wintry and grey here recently that I thought I would play with a little bit of sunshine on my inspiration board!
You will need:
- Pearl Flat Back Cabochons
- Push Pins
- Strong Glue
Just add your glue, then add your flat back cabochon and allow to dry!

Then you can use artificial flowers and make pretty decor on your own board!

Hi! These look so pretty and cute!! Where did you get your flat topped push pins from? I haven’t seen them in stores. Thanks!

My goodness! I’ve no idea! I think it was part of a desk set with paperclips etc. You could search online for flat head push pins xo.

Sooo pretty, good old Uhu ! I love your inspiration board. I have a similar chocolate box to that one you have that I held on to as it was just too pretty to throw away!

Hey Julia, thank you so much for stopping in! I don’t think that I even ate those truffles but I do love the box. I’ve picked up a few more now as well x
Carol ("Mimi")
So pretty and easy! I love your pastel color palette. Your bulletin board looks so fun, lively, and feminine.

Hey Carol, thank you so much! I’m a tiny bit obsessed with pastels x

Did you measure the diameter of the push pins and buy flat back pearls of the same size? These are so pretty!
Claire - Heart Handmade UK
Why hello there, yeah that is exactly what I did. I had push pins at home and I was able to get the flat back pearls from eBay without too much difficulty x

Thank you! I think this idea works well with a fabric covered cork board made for my childrens’ teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week! Love it! Thanks again!
