Now I want to show you the difference between the many oils that are out there and how to get the most out of them to save yourself money.
Essential Oils, Fragrance Oils & Diffusers
Diffusers are one of the easiest ways to use various oils. Oils including essential oils, carrier oils, and fragrance oils. Each oil has a unique benefit from a calming scent that will ease your worried mind.
These scents can fill a room when diffused by one of the diverse array of diffusers. Diffusers range from the basic plug-in to a classy reed diffuser. The best option varies on personal taste and purpose.
What Are Essential Oils?
Essential oils are oils which you extract from various plants to embody their scent and benefits. Lavender is a popular essential oil which you can distil from Lavandula Angustifolia. It is most commonly known for its calming effects.
If you’re on a mission to improve your wellness, it’s a great oil to have on hand. The easiest way to indulge in the benefits of essential oil is by adding a few drops to a diffuser and let the powerful scent fill the room.

I use oils on a daily basis, whether I want to focus more when I’m working with fresh scent of mint filling the air or the grapefruit in my homemade cleaners. Everything I know about aromatherapy, alternative therapies and DIY spa products, I learned from this bundle.
What are Fragrance Oils?
Fragrance oils are known for their aroma. They differ from essential oils in their makeup. While essential oils are distilled from plants, fragrance oils are a blend of synthetic aroma diluted by a carrier oil.
A fragrance oil can also be diluted essential oil. So, similarly to essential oils, fragrance oils are easy to use with diffusers but offer a larger array of scents.
Adding Carrier Oils
Carrier oils are used in reed diffusers to help diffuse the essential or fragrance oil. They are generally odourless or produce a faint scent which can be masked by the essential or fragrance oil it is paired with.
Using An Electric Diffuser
Electric diffusers are a simple way to provide a constant aroma. Perfect for an office or home environment, electric diffusers oils into the air to provide the scent of your choice. Depending on the electric diffuser, the oils can be diffused either by the use of heat or wind. Some diffusers will require the use of water while others only require oils. Add a few drops of Eucalyptus Spearmint to your favourite electric diffuser and let the air fill with a calming scent to create a stress-free environment.
Using Reed Diffusers
Reed diffusers are a great alternative to electric diffusers. Unlike electric diffusers, there is not a plug. Reed diffusers consist of a vessel for the oils, reeds, and, of course, the oils. The first step is pouring a carrier oil into the vessel. We recommend Grapeseed Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, or Almond Oil. These oils are absorbed easily by the reeds to diffuse the fragrance better.
Then next step is adding a few drops of your favourite scent into the mix. This can be an essential oil or fragrance oil. Add a splash of Reindeer Retreat to your home diffuser for a woody yet festive scent. The final step is adding the reeds into the oil.
Flip the reed once one end becomes saturated. After the initial flip, the reeds can be flipped every few days. For more fragrance, flip the reeds more often.
Diffusers are a good alternative to candles to fill any room with the perfect aroma. Whether you are in the mood for something strong and sweet or subtle and warm, there is an array of essential oils and fragrance oils to choose from. Whatever you are in the mood for, there is an oil for you.
