1. Wall Decoration DIY Overdoor Shelf
A shelf above the door is simply genius, especially if you have a small craft space or even closet. These small shabby shelves are simply adorable but of course, measure your door before you purchase!
2. Deep Metal Picture Ledges/Wall Shelves
These deep metal picture ledges are excellent if you want to maximise your storage space while still keeping your decorative items the main focus.
It’s easy to have a real piece of show stopper furniture like the Dreambox, decorating around that to ensure your furniture is the main focus can be tricky. These shelves are ideal!
3. Wall Decoration DIY Idea | Felt Letter Board
These types of letter boards have become so popular in the past couple of years and it’s obvious to see why. They add so much colour and fun to a room. The only problem I have is that I can’t be bothered to think of new things regularly OR change the letters lol.
If you think of hilarious quips all day long and have kids who love changing the board, then get it! However, if you’re lazy like me, you may just want to get some pre-written quote wall art.
4.Shabby Chic Vintage Cabinet
Another fantastic idea by June Stocking from her perfect shabby craft shed! She uses pewter candy dishes to store ribbons and notions. They look stunning on the bottom shelf of that wall unit. You would be able to find great selections Etsy.
5. Hexagon Wall Shelves
These shelves are such an unusual shape; they’re so impressive! Can you imagine how cool your walls are going to look with these bad boys hanging up there?
6. Farmhouse Pegboard
The Farmhouse trend is synonymous in my mind with a form of rustic minimalism. Of course, it isn’t for everyone but it is incredibly popular. Seeing this pegboard reminds me why it’s so popular. Simple, rustic and practical. What more could you want for your craft room wall?
7. Shabby Chic Curio Cabinet
Tamsyn Morgans, I hear a little cabinet like this calling your name! I’ve featured Tamsyn’s stunning home and photography before; I’m a HUGE fan.

Her entire home is absolutely stunning! As soon as I saw this little shabby chic cabinet on Etsy, I knew it was something I wanted in my craft room. It looks to be a great size that can hold a substantial amount.
8. We R Memory Keepers Fold Down Table
I’m so very much in love with this pull down scrapbooking table! It’s not just for use for scrapbooking, it can be used in the kitchen, in your bedroom to store your make up or even as a console/family organiser. Get a better look at this cabinet:
9. Hang A Removable Wall Mural [Video Tutorial]
As you can see from that image, I have my rather stunning acrylic drawers full of colourful washi tapes and vintage threads.
I had to include acrylic drawers because they’re so breathtaking and they would look AMAZING on a little shelf unit on your wall. Especially if you can fill it full of lovely colourful craft supplies.
Unfortunately, I have an Ikea Alex Computer Desk with Drawers White which has flip-up storage at the back for power cables, so I can’t have too much decoration on my desk. If I can find the right size of wall shelf, they’re going up!
Is your craft room organised? Are you going to use any of these wall decoration diy ideas?
